Dear Parent,
Welcome! Fellowship Church is here to serve you and your kids! During our Sunday Morning Service, we have activities that your children and youth can participate in, and they are listed below, according to age group. At Fellowship Church, we seek to provide a safe, loving, fun and Godly atmosphere where our children can learn and grow. We hope that our loving care for your child(ren) will allow you to enjoy and fully participate in Fellowship Church’s worship service each Sunday morning.
Parents also have the option to keep children with them through the worship service. We have a cry room in the back corner of the gym where child & parent can go to avoid disturbing others, or to change diapers. There is a speaker in the room so the worship can be heard
Where
All children’s and youth classes are located in Building A which is straight down the sidewalk going East from the gym, entering through the glass doors which face the parking lot. Rooms are listed for each class below.
Nursery >> Infants/babies to 2½ years of age
Parents take child to ROOM #106 Bldg A before worship. Sunday School workers are ready at 10:20 am. Parents please pick up by 12:10 pm.
In one section of the nursery there is a special area set aside for little ones that like to swing, sit, be held or lay around. The rest of the room is for crawlers and walkers where we will have an interactive activity, snack time and plenty of free play. Please pack a sippy cup in your diaper bag for snack time. Lambs >> 2½ - 4 (must be potty trained) Pre-school

This class provides a fun environment where children will hear a short Bible story, sing a song and do some sort of craft or activity to reinforce what they learned that morning. Explorers >> Ages 5 to 7
Children go with parents to main worship meeting and are released at 10:50 am to meet their teacher in the lobby of the main auditorium and then walk with Sunday School Teacher and helper to ROOM 101. Children are brought back to main service by 12:10 at the latest.
"Exploring what God says about His creation." The children have fun while learning more about God’s word. They hear a Bible story, do an activity and a craft that support the story and learn and review their monthly bible memory verse. Most of the time, a small snack is provided too. Seekers >> Ages 8 to 10

"Learning to seek God with all their hearts." The children will have a lesson from the Bible relevant to their age with a fun and interesting discussion time. In this class, there is more of a focus on helping them grow in character to become more like Christ. They will also review their memory verse(s) for the month. Youth Groups
Jr. High Youth Group >> Ages 11 to Junior High >> Room 100 Bldg A
Sr. High Youth Group >> 9th & 10th Grade >> Commons Bldg B
After the praise and worship time, the youth are dismissed to their class. They meet with class leaders in the gym lobby, then walk to their rooms. The youth come together for a fun time of fellowship and an opportunity to grow in character through focused Bible study and discussion. Food Allergies?
Sunday School classes often have a small snack. Please inform our teachers if your child is allergic to any food such as milk, wheat, or nuts, or if you simply prefer that they not have the snack.
Child Behavior & Discipline
Our teachers follow guidelines for handling discipline issues. We strive to “praise in public, correct in private” whenever possible. One of our deacons is on duty each Sunday to assist teachers with parent conferences after Sunday School and/or to return unruly children to their parents during the worship service. Children may be asked to memorize a godly character Bible verse before returning to class the next week.
When Children Are NOT in Sunday School
During worship or Sunday School (10:30 am to Noon) all children are to be either with their parents or in a class.
For the safety of all youngsters as well as the security of the school campus, we ask all parents to keep an eye on their own children whenever children are not in a church organized class (before worship or after Sunday School).
Playground use is ok but must be parent-supervised.
Allowing kids to freely roam the campus inside or outside of buildings unsupervised by an adult is not a good idea.
